Texan Sunset

Description

It was quite a pretty sunset last night. I wasn't really in a prime location for taking photos so I tried to make do with what I had :)

I usually judge deviations quite quickly by the thumbnail when I first see them, and tend to make gut reactions to them. When I saw this, I knew without even opening it that it would be a photo of epic proportions.

I am glad that the full view has not dissapointed. The one thing that really stood out for me here was the prime exposure. The sky, the grass, the horizon, and especially the tree in your frame could not be exposed any better.

This shot conveys a sense of peace and tranquility. The upward angle pointing to the clouds, with the light shining onto them sets the tone for the photo. It's warm and inviting, even as this single tree stands in an otherwise-empty field.

I can't even say anything bad, or something I could see improved. If I were to have taken this photo, I would be overcome with a profound sense of accomplishment.
